I wonder how advisable it is to get posted someplace where you are not exactly best buddies with a senior, a senior moreover who cannot or shall not keep his personal tiffs seperate from work. The opportunity is great professionally but is it actually worth the daily trouble I wonder.....?

Okay, this is exactly what I have to go through each day. And its a torture, I don't know how exactly good the opportunity is, but if I were you, either I would try be friends with the senior, or if he is a fiend, like in my case, I'll leave or be a 'yes' man.
Whatever you do, you will end up hating your self for sure :(
Ouch which is why I am pretty certain I shall end up there.... It would be ironic were I not so sick of irony ....
